My first show!

Well... Sunday was different, I went out with both my mums to a place that human mum calls a show. I couldn't believe it... there were dogs left right and centre. There were big dogs, little dogs, hairy dogs, scary dogs- wow, I never knew so many dogs existed!!!
I watched as human mum & poodle mum went in to the ring. My poodle mum sure does sure look lovely when she trots, she is so elegant, not too sure about human mum though... hmmmm!
After a while the big judge lady handed my human mum a yellow thingy (apparently it's called a rosette), I think human mum was a bit miffed that the rosette wasn't red- silly mum who cares what colour it is, it still looks good to chew-lol.

And you'll never guess what happened next.....

Human mum decided it was my turn to go in to the ring... oh no.... help..... too many dogs..... too many people watching..... this can't be happening to me..... I'm a crossbreed..... I just wanna sleep.... but human mum had her mind made up & in to the ring we went!

Well, both me & human mum must have looked a right old sight, as I certainly can't move like my poodle mum (my legs are far too big for me at the minute!). & human mum... well we won't even get started on her, she is a human after all.... enough said!

It was very hot and I was getting bored, but human mum said I did very well & was very pleased with my behaviour & guess what... I also got a yellow rosette, which human mum says is 3rd. The only downfall being that I was not allowed to chew my rosette- heck... what was the point in winning it then??

Not much else happened to me after that as I was sent home for being a tired puppy! But poodle mum did something called an agility course, I don't know what that is, but it sure does sound interesting.... I hope when I'm older I can do this agility thing too!
